We want every product to arrive safely and work exactly as described. If something goes wrong, this policy explains your options.

CHANGE OF MIND

Because many of our products are used for personal care and daily living (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen), we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns for opened or used items. This is standard practice for hygiene and safety-sensitive assistive technology products.

If you ordered the wrong item and it is still unopened and in original packaging, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will assess your request on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping for change-of-mind requests is the customer's responsibility.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, your rights are protected under Australian Consumer Law. In these cases we will offer a replacement, store credit or full refund once the issue has been confirmed.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if:

• The item was damaged in transit

• The item is defective or malfunctions after first use

• You received the wrong product or size

• The item does not match the product description

We may request photos or a brief description to process your request efficiently.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

1. Email us at hello@theinnerspaceco.com.au with your order number and a brief description of the issue.

2. We will respond within 1–2 business days with the next steps.

3. If your return is approved, we will provide the return address and instructions.

RETURN SHIPPING

• Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: return shipping is covered by The Inner Space Co.

• Change-of-mind returns (if approved): return shipping is at the customer's cost.

REFUND PROCESSING

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed within 7 business days to your original payment method.

NDIS PARTICIPANTS

If you purchased using your NDIS plan and need to return an item, please include your NDIS plan type (self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed) and your plan manager's contact details if relevant. We will provide documentation to support any adjustments required.
